Formerly HEIM Systems GmbH before becoming part of the French ZODIAC Aerospace Group, Zodiac Data Systems GmbH was established in 1966 focussing on data acquisition, processing and data storage. HEIM products are used in aerospace, military, automotive and industrial applications to collect, monitor and store data for real-time and post process analysis.
 

Zodiac Data Systems GmbH (Heim Systems) is well-known throughout the world as a supplier of high-performance data acquisition systems. The flexibility and modularity of the systems based on integral signal conditioning and data storage made the DATaRec^® A- and D-series the leading edge in data acquisition. The wide range of signal conditioning modules allows not only the connection of microphones, strain gauges, ICP^®; sensors, PCM streams and various analog signals, but also the connection of MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429 and CAN buses. These signals are recorded with extreme time accuracy and can be replayed through matching replay modules which ensures an easy adaptation to any measurement task. In aerospace industry the Heim systems are used in flight test and operational load monitoring applications. In the automotive industry they are employed for the wide range of noise-vibration-harshness (NVH) applications.
